At our school, we offer a well-structured approach to early childhood education, divided into three levels: Nursery(Balvikas), LKG (Lower Kindergarten), and UKG (Upper Kindergarten). Each level is carefully designed to support and enhance childrens development at every stage.
Nursery(Balvikas, 3-4 years old): At this foundational stage, children are introduced to the basics of learning through play and exploration. The focus is on sensory experiences, motor skills, language development, and building social skills.
LKG (4-5 years old): In LKG, the learning experience is further developed. Social skills, self-confidence, and emotional intelligence are key areas of focus, alongside improving fine and gross motor skills. The curriculum has activities that help children to enhance teamwork and communication.
UKG (5-6 years old): UKG is a preparatory level where children build on the skills learned in previous years. They engage in more complex learning activities, such as simple reading, writing, basic math, and problem-solving. At this stage, children are encouraged to think critically, develop logical reasoning, and expand their vocabulary. UKG also focuses on enhancing independence, preparing them for the transition to formal schooling. Socially, they become more confident in group activities, further enhancing their interpersonal skills.
Across all levels, the development of language skills, motor skills, emotional intelligence, cognitive abilities, and social skills is supported by engaging, in age-appropriate activities.
